The Viking Daily newsletter showed today's weather forecast as "Clouds and Sun with a shower 80° F" and "Sunrise: 6:50 AM."
We woke at 5:30 am.
Shortly after 6:00, we went to The Restaurant for breakfast.
The Viking Daily newsletter for Nov 30, delivered to our stateroom the previous evening, showed the Disembarkation Schedule, in groups corresponding to the color-coded luggage tags we had received with the newsletter. It said we were to attach the tags to our luggage and leave the tagged luggage outside our stateroom between 8:00 and 10:00 pm this evening. The newsletter reminded us not to pack items we would need tonight or in the morning.
Our color-coded luggage tags were for group "Blue 2," which the schedule said would meet at the Theater (Deck 2) at 7:30 am.
Before 7:15, we went to the Theater (Deck 2) meeting place for the "Blue 2" debarkation group.
At 8:15, we finally got called for our group to go to the bus, but we got stuck behind another group in the Deck 2 aft hallway (around the Atrium) for a long time before the line moved.
At 9:25, we got through airport security to go to Gate B1.
Delta flight 752 departed Ft. Lauderdale at 10:35 am.
We arrived in Atlanta at 12:30 pm.
Delta flight 345 departed Atlanta at 2:00 pm.
We arrived art MCI (aka KCI) airport in Kansas City at 3:15 pm (with a 1-hour time change).
We took a shuttle service to home in Leavenworth.
